Well, I finally got to fly home to Texas from Virginia to see my new '05 Viper for the first time which I just had a Paxton s/c installed. Keep in mind this is the first time I have seen it in person or driven it. When I saw it and sat behind the wheel it was even dreamier than imagined. I started it...and WOW!!! Well, I immediately took it for a spin and the power was awesome!!! After 20 minutes of driving, I notice oil dripping from under the car. I locate the oil leak at the s/c where the 90 degree fitting ties in. I'm not a mechanic, but this seems like an easy fix. I notice the fittings are fairly loose, so I attempt to tighten them...SNAP the fitting breaks, leaving the oil stem inside the s/c.

It seems strange that it broke because I was only turning the fitting by hand when it happened...I shouldn't have been able to break it w/o using a wrench. Needless to say the car remained parked for the rest of my trip home. I'm now back in Virginia working with my car in Texas. I was hoping for more than 20 minutes of fun and excitement.
The place that did the installation picked the car back up yesterday and are supposed to be fixing it. Is this something that is relatively common?...(the spot where it leaked). If so, I just can't believe it would happen so fast.
Any advice???
