The good thing about this place is that there are ALOT of great guys here that have become good friends. They have a passion for cars and enjoy all makes and kinds but mostly, they have the minds of adults, something your probably not used to "LSX rules". The top 10 are all 11.3's and better. And that's out of thousands upon thousands of runs. Yet you talk to some 50-year old bald guy who never sees the high side of 4000RPM's and he will tell you with certainty that C6 Z06s "average" 11.2-11.3 at 125-127mph when in reality thats the very very top of the bell curve of what they run.

I gotta be honest with you....I was a lil taken back when I saw this list as well. With all the hype I figured the list would be 10.9-11.3 at 124-129 mph...Instead only a precious few have done better than 11.5 bone stock and as well most of them are in the 121-123 mph range...Wich "IS" faster than our stock Gen 3's..But defiently not murdering a list we could have of 10 differant guys runnig 11.7-11.9 at 119-123 mph

Yup. I only speak for the car not the driver. And the cars was off spray and only 65% power. There still sorting and fixing all the bugs since the 2.8 install. The stock ignition system can't hold anymore. I'll keep you guys updated.

I haven't seen this much flaming on a thread in a while, lol. OnesickZ06, yo you don't tire out of all the sh*t talking? Z06's are fast man, edging out a bone stock SRT-10, but when mods come into play, I think our Vipers have the upper hand. The ZR1 is going to be fast no doubt, but at at the super inflated price it will be offered at, the Viper will be the better bang for the buck than the Vettes. At the end of the day, the Viper is bigger, with more room to grow than the vette. I haven't driven the ZR1 yet, but have driven Z06's and Vipers back to back. I would never trade my Viper for a Z06 just because of how much more connected I feel to the road on the Viper. I think there is more potential for the Viper.
