I am trying to sell my Z06 right now and having a hard time as well. I would like to possibly get into an srt here soon if the Z06 will sell. I think you have a great price on the car but like they said above the market is soft right now. Good luck with the sale.
You should be more in the $43-45k range a few reasons
1) 04s had model year changes...and they are selling for $50k with 8-10k less miles
2) Silver is NOT a desirable color for most 2nd owners
3) Don't agree with the winter assessment...most buyers know the winter is a good time to find a good deal...and there are more of them
Just do some research as to what other models have sold for quickly....if you hold out you might be able to find a buyer at your price...but there are SOOOO many used vipers on the market and the Internet makes them visiable to everyone that you may have a long wait.
Bad year, bad color, vert in a mid-winter, economy on verge of recession* $45K and it should sell quickly...anything higher and you'll have to find the right ass to fill that seat, lol...
Only certain Gen II's (like the BLUE & WHITES or the rare GT2's) and maybe the Gen III *coupes* will hold great resale. The rest will fall like a rock to new model's such as the 08's.
