Listen to these guys..... Not only that but it's not like this is the first Z06 to run these kind of numbers, it's just the lowest thus far.
Which makes him the first numb nuts! Look, there is now way to prove the car was stock. If Nixon can say "I am not a crook" and Clinton say "I didn't have sex with Monica" It's not hard to believe that a guy who is attempting to get into the record books would lie.
People lie to get into the record books in all sports. Remember the Tour De France, NASCAR and Track and Field recent fiascos.

I was simply making a comparison to show that there are similar enough stock runs to show that this isn't some complete outlandish claim. Ranger, Wayne, and now Jamie have all run consistently low stock numbers. Of course there is no way to prove that this is a completely stock car, but we can atleast give him the benefit of the doubt when he has credibility to back it up. Unfortunately credibility is all we can use.... but realistically what other alternative is there? What should an individual do to prove such a run? I think the evidence is on their side, but some people are just too stubborn or ignorant to believe it. hate on

I think history shows he doesn't like to leave his cars stock, but either way I would love to claim having a 10 sec car

Listen FUCKTARD! The only thing I've done on the thread is congratulate the guy for his driving skills....oh, and insult you...twice. Who's the HATE ON for.
If you are going to claim something....have the info to back it up or don't claim it. "Trust Me" doesn't pull much weight around here or any where else in this country. It's simply to easy to chip the car, do lifter and push rods, SHAVE your stock tires and so on. The car would look stock BUT it's not. I really don't care if his car is stock or modified. A 10.9 run on street tires in freakin fantastic.

Personally, I have faith that these numbers are the result of excellent conditions, a fast example of the car, great maintenance, great prep, and superb driving. I don't think think there were any devious intentions and I congratulate him, Doc, and Ranger for their times. I wish we had more guys who ran their stock Vipers like these guys.

Congratulations, Jamie! I have seen first hand Jamie drive cars at MIR. He is the real deal and I believe him when he says the car is stock. He drove my Heffner TT Viper when it had the DIY kit on it. He was able to get the best time out of the car. He shed .5 sec off the best time Heffner ran in it on the same day. This guy can drive for sure!

I just happen to be looking for one of these so-called stock 130 mph Z06's to race myself. I am in the Arkansas/Oklahoma border area if you wish to find me.
Not talking shit I just want to race one of these cars....bad!!!
I've done 11.1@129 on street tires the 60ft of that run a 1.87. But my N/A car makes ALOT more power than stock. I just suck getting off the line. If I could get that 1.6 60ft I would be in the 10.7-10.8 range at 130mph+ With driver the car is over 3600lbs (I think)
The point is, with a "rated 505hp @ 3150lbs" using factory tires, you are not going to be in the 10's. Something on the car has been tweeked OR it makes more power than it's "rated" for.
You can't bend the laws of physics, trust me, I try.
