So what and when did the change the new system? Did they fix the 02 sensor burning problem? Did they fix how you would have to sometimes weld instead of the clamps due to movement after a while?
So I was told by Dave B that the corsa designs are actually reverese engineered from the borla and then to make you think its worth the larger pric they do something pointless like POLISH it all.
I had the Corsa Track with metal substrate hi-flow cats for a while. Much better sound than stock. Sounded great under WOT. No drone. It does, however, have a metallic, tinny sound. It also took care of the heat issue. I have since changed to Belanger headers and exhaust minus cats. This will be the first thing I do to any new Viper I buy in the future. It's has a much deeper tone throughout the RPM range. It is alumanized steel so you do not get the metallic sound that you get with other systems which are stainless steel. The car is very loud under WOT! I do experience a small amount of drone in the lower RPM range.

So the those headers do a big change and a good one it sounds like from what you wrote?

Here's what the Corsa track exhaust sounds like on my 97 GTS with Belanger headers and no cats. Sound starts about 30 seconds into the video so wait for it.
My 9 y/o is on the camera so overlook the unsteady hand.
I've heard plenty of people complain about the corsa track. It sounds very tractorish like a UPS truck until you get on it then it gets very loud kinda like a WWII fighter plane. The exhaust pulse is very noticable.
I like the old corsa tips better than the new ones.

The Belanger system sounds like a very big street bike and the exhaust pulses are not as pronounced. I wasn't impressed with the sound.
Viper Jim, if you were not looking for a loud system then you bought definatly bought the wrong one. The corsa track is one of the louder systems available for the Viper. The B&B would suite you better.
I just got a 2005 SRT with the corsa and it is too loud for me. I am going to have the stock put back on. With the corsa, I am afraid I will wake the neighbors when I pull in at night. I got a headache driving it home. I don't mind an aggressive sound but I have to be able to listen to the radio if I want. Hope the Stock fixes my problem.

1. Rather than change out the whole exhaust it may be cheaper to add some vortex cones
2. Consider a flash from dc performance will help the car run smoother
3. Also if u want to listen to the radio u have to change out the door speakers ... the polk speakers are cheap but way louder...u won't hear the stock speakers with the top down

If your going to take off your Corsa, do you want to sell it? Contact me with a price and maybe pics, I want to buy one. Anybody else have one or even another brand feel free to contact me. Thanks!
Have you heard a Hennessey Full exhaust on a SRT, I have there Intake, throttle bodie, Computer , Headers , cats and exhust and it sounds amazing !!! In 100' Florida summer heat with a heat soaked motor the numbers were 540 rwhp and 600rwtrq. Numerous people have said its the sickest sounding Viper they have ever heard well except for my SC GEN1. lol

Thanks, Ill do that, I also put the stock exhaust back on and it does sound great to me now. Ill send pics to anyone who wants to buy the corsa, only used aboout 500 miles, just like new
I have the Corsa too and love it, my brother got his used from craigslist but I wanted a valid warranty so I got it here. Corsa Exhaust 14174, or you can try one of the sponsors here on the forum, they are allways having sales/specials. Either way its a great exhaust system, sounds great, and very easy to install.
I haven't tried Corsa. I considerd it, but heard it at the dealership on a car in service and it sounded raspy at idle. Everyone, including my Viper Tech says it sounds great WOT, though, and most Viper owners swear by it. I've also heard that the build-quality of it is much better than the Borla.
I purchased a new Borla exhaust for my '06 earlier this year. Had it on my car for about 3 months/300 miles. I have to admit, that it's one of the best sounding exhausts at idle. Deep and throaty sounding. Very nice, but it was too loud for me above 2500 RPM, so I replaced it wth a '09 stock Viper exhaust and that has worked out perfectly for me.
My Borla is for sale if anyone is interested. I'll let it go for a fraction of what I paid and it is in like new condition.
