srt10 spark plugs

Im trying to pick them up NOW!!!!!!!!

Im thinking about the Champions as after a search they seem to be well trusted..

Are they available at any Checkers/Napa?

As well whats the spark plug number and what size to gap them to.

Thanks for any help as I really want to have them installed today and have the car dynoed

Check your emissions sticker under your hood. The plug type should be listed there.

I just went to the local Napa and picked up the Champion platinum plugs for $2.50 each.

They came with a .35 gap..

Is .35 the recommended stock SRT10 gap?

should be fine. you could probably move them to .40 . just give it a shot. if the spark isnt getting blown out, you can open them up till you do... but .35 shouldnt hurt it. (im running .28 in boosted cars)

I went ahead with .35..

Ill be getting the car dynoed in a few hours. She feels pretty good as of now,

One of the plugs came out with finger strength ( wasnt firing) and the number 8 was VERY lean

Dynoed a whopping 322 rwhp after the spark plug change.. Only 160 less rwhp than what I was expecting...

Shortly after my 308 code popped up again ( miss fire)

So the number 8 plug isnt firing and were gonna go ahead and work on the wires on Tuesday..

Just for shits and giggles I went out and did a 1/4 mile pass with the car at 322 rwhp...Ran a 13.2 at 110 mph off a 2.1 60 ft....

Kinda funny because even with the car throwing codes and not firing on all cylinders that 13.2 at 110 mph is still faster than I ever did in my stock 2004 C5...LOL
