Flatbed Fagi, at first I was concerned about the new Viper barely beating the Z06 but this new review seems to be more of what we expected; a complete ass whipping. Apparently, the other comparisons were done on snow covered surfaces, dirt roads. As it now appears, the Viper is driving the corvulva into submission. Some of these other forum members bring up good points, especially the one about resale value. In retrospect, good thing your finances collapsed when they did because that shitbox corvulva would be worth 10k less now than it was at that fateful time, when your beloved Z06 was hauled away. God, I love saying that.
P.S. Do you have any personal photos, taken on that fateful day, that you can share with us? I'd love to see a pic of Flatbed Fagi, weeping in his hands, as the dreaded flatbed is hauling his dream car away. Holy shit, I just can't help myself from saying that............again and again and again.....

Hell, that deal was so good that I actually e-mailed the seller about this car. But then I came to my senses real fast and realized I would never get into another Viper again.
I never realized how pathetic these cars are when it comes to depreciation. I thought Vets are bad.

It's funny that when the z06 was beating the viper by 2 tenths it was "bitch slapping" it, but now that the viper is ahead by the same margin it is "just 2 tenths" or a "drivers race"

From what I was told, there is a 75hp upgrade available for the '08 Viper, bringing the car to nearly 700hp. What an ass whipper this thing is going to be. If GM ever does produce the ZR1, I would still rather have a NA 700hp than a supercharged 650 or 700hp, for that matter. I would still like to see Chrysler address the weight by taking off at least 100 pounds. Standard 2 piece rotors would get it half way there. Surely, there are 50 pounds that can be removed, elsewhere.

The thread is titled "Edmunds Comparison Test: 08 Viper vs. ZO6" which is appropriate for this area. The majority of the posts within the thread are appropriate for this area. If the thread's author requests that it be moved, I can, but that's up to MbnViper.
My suggestion was that those involved in personal smack within the thread take THEIR fight to AG.
