Yeah apparently it's called limetime. Wonder if that's what Mallett used to pain the car. I'm surprised how close the colors look and not sure I like it on the C5 at all.

It might have something to do with the dinosaur scales on the side.
Damn, that color sure illustrates how much better looking a Viper is than a corvette. For whatever reason, that color looks great with the new hood. Godzilla Green.
The car has a blown 436... it's not slow. Yes it's crazy looking because it was built for the Motor Trend Super Tuner Challenge.
I saw that Mallet car in bowling green, KY 6/29/2003. It didn't even sound fast. : I had a lingenfelter supercharged Z06 at the time. I was at the corvete museum it was outside. By far the ugliest corvette EVER! Mallet was showing his work he had several cars their. Mallet doe's built some bad rides though just not that one.
I've always thought metalic colors generally look better on cars that look at though they are 'metal' bodies with sculpted lines -- but metalic paint on molded plastic (like the vette) just seems to cause your eyes to call bullshit when you look at it -- C5 vettes have some of the softest lines of any, and look better in solid colors (IMO)
The entire concept of the Viper is thievery of a '69 corvette big block. Too bad Chevy doesn't have the balls to build as bold a vette now, as they did nearly 40 years ago. The key difference is that the Viper is hand built with quality, while the vette has always been put together like shit.
