Looking for paint code for Snakeskin Green

Yellow is a PITA to match... as a result I have various shades, a black hood, and tons of ships from running HPDEs with my car. I'm planning on painting my car this winter and fell in love w/ the new green. Anywhere I can get the paint code? Will Dodge release it yet?

At the track:

DRM vented hood an tigershark front end:

Once upon a time she was pretty:

So I figure a little bit of this:

+ getting full polished centers for my CCWs:

Would be damn cool

Thanks for any help,
Brian

Thank you much. Once I tear into it I'll be taking pics. I hope I can find a painter who can spray like the folks at Saleen... they're painting the cars for Chrysler LLC right?

That is a great ride for track days. I had an 02 head/cam car that was amazing.. I thought about picking up another one since they are such a good deal right now.

Post some pics of the finished product.

Thanks... that's the reason I bought it back in '03. Was/is the best all around track car for the money. I run 4-6 HPDEs a year as money allows and have way too much in the car. 3 sets of wheels/tires, car trailer, truck to pull it, spare brake stuff, ultrashield racing seat etc etc etc.

Car has full boltons and a G5-X2 cam... makes 436/397 rwhp/rwtq. Thinking about getting some AFR 205s and a FAST manifold to get to 480+ but don't really need it.

I keep looking at the new '08 C6 w/ the LS3 but then I realize I'm not lusting after the new design or the power (LS3 has great potential... makes 430 rwhp and the same torque w/ just intake headers), but instead I'm wanting a clean car that I actually enjoy waxing again.

Running VIR w/ synergy the 2nd weekend in October then will tear the car down after that... C5s are so easy to repaint... all the body panels come off and there's no engine bay or unibody to deal with.

God damn I love Viper guys... the hood is a DRM heat extractor hood and is no longer in production. I love it and it took me over a year to find one for sale. It cam painted black off of a track car so I installed it as is. I didnt' waste my money painting it yet and blending the front end as I knew I'd be painting the whole car in the future.

Here's another angle:

I hope you're not a financial advisor by trade, given this example of excess investment into that CarMax hotrod

fyi if you want another color option look into House of Kolors "Lime Time"! First time i saw the '08 green i thought that was where the idea came from.

^ That looks pretty sweet... but a bit too lime for me. Would look sweet on some kind of hot rod.

I like the SSG because of the amount of gold in the paint... or at least it appears that way.

For anyone who is on the fence about Snake Skin Green you need to jump off feet first. I saw three '08 Vipers at yesterday's NEXTEL Cup race at Dover. Dodge sponsored the event. They had a red coupe with black stripes in their booth. It was stunning.

However, during the pace laps they had Black and Snake Skin Green convertibles out on the track for a photo op. Wow! The green really pops. Especially in the direct sunlight. They parked the cars in the infield, and they were in plane view from where I was sitting. The green viper looked like a beacon from the grandstands. Impressive...but too bright for me.

there is gold/yellow pearl if i'm not mistaken. i had the orange version of that on my last car "sunset pearl".

My painters description of that green was pretty much that of a Green traffic light at night where you see the yellowish tint near the center. 'll try to get my friend to send me pics of his showcar painted in limetime.

That orange is killer... is that your car on the cover? I've always liked oranges too, but it's been done on a C5 quite a few times. It's down to SSG and a brighter shade of yellow. I love yellow, but I'm so close to taking the plunge on the new green.
