I believe if you remove the valve stem caps on the wheels, you will have less rotating mass which should improve 1/4 mile times.
I too was floored (pardon the pun) to find out that a $90K+ car did not come with floor mats. I thought the dealership was screwing with me but it was true. Fortunately, I was able to convince them to locate a set and give them to me free of charge. What a deal, huh?! Needless to say, it is beyond ridiculous that the car doesn't come with them. I don't know what pinhead came up with that idea but I hope he and whomever concurred with it got fired. Fucking idiots!
Next time, buy your Viper from Mike at Ringgold. He threw in a set of mats for me at no additional cost. A 90k car without mats is utterly ridiculous and that is why everybody is laughing their asses off; nothing personal against you. There's just something funny about seeing another person being balled so unexpectedly.
Like BMW and a few other makes , the mats do not come standard. Yet , stating that , there are some Limited Editions, Special Editions, i.e. that did have them as part of the package. The new 08s can be ordered with a protection package that has the car cover and mats for each car at $450. If you have a VOI9 you should have gotten floor mats, for instance, and if your new car is one that did not come with them call or email me. We likely have some in stock and we discount them for Forum members to $70 a set.
