You need some more mods before you can pick him apart on highway roll races. Your 99 R/T and this car are pretty close in performance. YOU REALLY NEED an exhaust system......
The honest reason I beat you over and over in the beginning, was because you were in 1st gear at 45mph to 50. I was in 2nd. As soon as you get on it, you'd have to shift, while I ride out 2nd till I'm a good 2 cars in front. If you were to have gone from 2nd, It might have played out differently.. but not much.
BTW.. I put the fuse back a couple days ago.
BTW.. my passenger said that the only time you beat me, was when I wasn't ready and didn't even bother to go. You can call her later to confirm.

I did the 3 beeps and we both had even starts.. We were both on it...It appeared to me that I got traction a lil better and pulled off 3 W's in a row..

If you loose traction or are late to respond and I end up a few cars in front by 110 mph then i won those races...
I could easily say that you "didnt really" win the low rolls because I hit my rev limiter or mis shifted...
But guess what. You won...No excuses from me on your W's

At a drag strip the same could happen to eighter of us..We aint gonna be running 11's on every single pass...That I guarantee...sspinning off the line or mis shifts can make or brake a run..but the winner still crosses first...
Now on the other hand the run that really mattered was the 70-140 punch. And you pulled me by 2 cars fare and square..

Why is someone who "misses shifts" even racing anyway....The Z06 is a faster car....why are you even bother racing him? So if you win 2 out of 20 times because he is busy playing with his radio...what does this prove.
Listen I know its standard practice for everyone who gets into a viper for the 1st time to think its the fastest thing on the road...than I got absolutely SPANKED by a supercharged vette...and realized if you want to win in these wars you will need to HEAVILY modify your car....even the '08 will get spanked by heavily modified cars...

Hey big turbos..tonight I went out and practiced starting at 70 in third gear instead of second...Wow what a differance not having to quickly shift...
I thought 3rd gear would be weak..But after learning how to get the rpm's up for the quick release at 70 mph in third gear...Well it's hard not to loose traction she hits so fast..
So It might be closer than you think since my Dumb ass will use this now OBVIOUS technique next round...

Vid next time, and like others said get a full exhaust and some gears on there to open the V10 up more and make better use of the power. Maybe an aluminum fly wheel for better revs also.
