Since day one of the Z surpassing the Viper and being the new 'King' via stats..
Style, no one cared...
Looks, no one cared....

The one thing that brought most to buy that car was 'the title'...
Only in the statistics area..

Welllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll....
People like " Fadi " , hmmm you may want to lose that camera or your races and victories to make yourself feel better and don't head back home as buddies of mine are ready to blow that fucking rag off of your head as we speak..

)))))))))))))

'The title' if you will is now back with the beast

For all the toolboxes out there w the new Z's just racing everyone and / or showing time slips....

If they now see a new Snake coming......
Keep the rag handy for the sweat beads )

In any case the only retort anyone had re: any Z owner comparing to a Viper was the performance stats..
Fair enough..
Other than that, no one gave or gives a fuck..
To 90 percent of the public it's just 'a corvette' and no one cares....

Now, you don't even have that )))))))

For sale signs ???
Or awaiting ' The blue devil ' for 40+ grand more ???

Either way, this is only to the shitbags out there reveling in the fact that for a blink their almighty Vette was a cunt hair faster than the car that everyone turns their heads at, takes pictures of, creates smiles, people say ' hey I saw one today' etc...

Hang the Vette flag at half mast or wear a black arm band....

Your 15 minutes are up ...
Not that they were ever really there to begin with.

The only thing my Z06 broke was the doors of the Vipers that I raced while blowing by them. You know, various 06 Vipers just like yours. How does that make you feel, King Zib?

I have owned both Vipers and Vets, I know how much faster the Z06 is than the Viper and hence I defend the facts. Logically speaking, I don't have to own it at this moment to be able to defend it. But since you don't have any logic given that the carpet on your head has sucked all the brain cells away, I can understand.

It was the greatest 5 month just because I got to blow away every Viper I came across. You should have seen the looks on their faces, like little bitches lost in a forrest, you know, kind of like the look on your face when you were born.

And they will be right back when the Corvette SS comes back ripping the 08 Viper a new a$$hole. Ah, that must tear you up inside. Might as well just sell your home, Viper, kidneys, boyfriend, and dildos to get in line for the SS..

Fadi, you forgot that I own both cars (although I don't expect to keep the Z06 much longer, with such a delectable Viper on the horizon). Fadi, you are still young and maybe you stretched your purchasing potential a bit too far on that Z06 that you leased. I suggest that you regroup, take a good hard look at what Ford is offering in their Mustang lineup (V6 is available) and when you are ready, let me know what I have to do to get you in a Mustang today.

By the way, forest is spelled as so. Higher education might just create a stairway to the middle class for you, someday. It's never too late to go to college, Fadi. Financial aid is available to those in lower economic standing, so don't give up on your dreams.

Is that the best you can do? Haha, weak, just like your Viper's acceleration compared to a Z06.

I know I am young, thanks for the reminder. It is nice to be young and have experienced all these toys, rather than be like you, probably mid 50's, bald, and thinking you are a baller because you have a Z06 and Viper.. God, that is just so hilarious. I am sure there are people reading that post of yours and just laughing their asses off thinking to themselves what a moron you are for thinking that. You big balla you..

Ya, it is a good thing you know how to spell "forest" correctly, I suspect you to, it is after all your home, bitch.

Now, like I said before, go back to flipping burgers, or wait, did you get promoted to the manager position? After all, you do have a Vet and a Viper you baller..lol

The reason I mentioned owning both is because it allows me to compare them objectively, whereas you only leased one and had to part with it due to insufficient income. I never boasted about being a "big baller", although your fire sale exemplifies an automotive "blue balling". Now, tell me the truth, Fadi; did it hurt when the flatbed took your beloved corvette away?

Of course, he's been preaching here ever since, trying to convice us all to move to the C6 Z06.

I'll just stick to my slow ass gen 2.

I guess it's cheaper than a psychiatrist, although I am not sure if we are supplying the kind of therapy that he so sorely needs. I don't know if I ever witnessed a grown man balling his eyes out like this on a forum. It's quite a spectacle.

How does someone that has neither make fun of someone who has both? Anyone able to have either car is doing pretty well let alone both.fadi, you don't even have one. Good news though, there is a camaro coming out soon that should be in your $ range.

Redline, please don't give the peasant false hopes. From the reports I have received, the Camaro is a bit lofty for his ailing budget. Lets keep him focused on a late model Mustang before we send this frail she-male into a self destructive mode, that could shake up his trailer park, family members.

I would rather have a late model Mustang than have a Viper and get shitted on by every Z06 I see. Hell, atleast the Mustang isn't meant to be competitive with the Z06. But hey, atleast the new Viper is barely quicker (if that) than the Z06 and you can enjoy that while you can since GM is right around the corner and coming out with the SS and shitting on the Viper once again. Ahh, the glory of the Corvette shines more and more now as each year goes by. Sucks for people like you..

Heh... you really need to look into the 08 car alot more before you make statements like that. Just like the Gen 1 to Gen 2 the car may look the same on the outside but all through the inside is a completely different car with improvements.

Transmission: TR6060 tranny with 10% wider gears for higher torque capacity, and a new synchronizer system.

Brakes: Improved ABS system with 14-inch Brembo brake rotors 44/40 dual opposing piston calipers in the front and by Brembo 42/38 dual opposing calipers in the rear.

Suspension/Handling:Fully independent, four-wheel suspension with lightweight, track style aluminum control arms and knuckles, damped by lightweight coil-over shock absorbers. And a Dana M44-4 rear axle and outfitted it with a new GKN Visco-Lok speed-sensing limited-slip differential for improved traction on road course type driving.

Last but not least
Engine: V 10 8.4-liter engine with new cylinder heads equipped with Computer Controlled (CNC)-shaped combustion chambers, larger valves and Variable Valve Timing (VVT). The VVT electronically adjusts when the exhaust valves are open and closed according to engine speed and load, allowing the engine to “breathe” cleaner and more efficiently depending how the dar is being driven. New two-piece intake manifold make for better air flow, and a better air-cleaner box with a high flow filters are attached to dual electronic throttle control into the intake module.
The air-fuel mixture is sparked by new platinum-tip spark plugs fired by separate plug coils mounted on the cylinder-head covers. The pistons themselves are equipped with larger-diameter floating pins with bronze bushings for higher loads. Forged powder-metal connecting rods are secured with aircraft-quality fasteners for increased fatigue strength. The lubrication is managed by a larger oil pump and a swinging oil pickup adapted from Viper competition engines, to improve oil pressure in high-rpm and hard-cornering conditions both on and off the track.

Case in point you people are really missing the big picture by yaking about HP and TQ as the sole winner of everything. You're forgetting about the entire rest of the car in HOW it gets the power to the ground and keeps it there throughout the drive. Notice they didnt keep the same car and just throw more HP at it hoping it will maybe beat out the Z but rather rework things that need refining to handle the new power. Also over at the Morg someone spoke with a guy on the SRT team about the big bad "blue devil" and the engineer said they know all about it and already have it covered in the coming years.

Haha, that is screaming out of your posts.

Please, thinking you are hard shit because you have a Vet and Viper, LOL. Just goes to show you how much you DON'T have when it comes to finances. Stick to the little boy toys, king dick, and now get back to flipping your burgers!!
Umm, I think you have lost all credability with saying anyone with medicore fianances can afford a Viper or a Z06.
Last I checked a Z06 Corvette cost around 75k new and could be purchased in the high 30's used with lots of miles.
The Viper goes for around 90k new, and you can get a used one in the mid 40's used. You need to have a pretty decent income to afford either one of these cars. Also need to figure that they are not practical cars at all and that almost everyone that owns a Vette or a Viper owns a daily driver. (Well almost everyone, I am sure their are some rich bastards that don't, but they are a minority).

Viper vs Vette? Vette's are a dime a dozen and have very little resale value in the future. As for speed, well they are both very fast cars. Who really care's which car from the manufacturer is faster stock. Once you start modifying the car which just about everyone does all bets are off.
Vipers are an entry level exotic, vette's are just sports cars. That is pretty much the difference in a nut shell.

I have an 02 Final Edition Viper and personally I will put my Viper next to any other Viper or Vette and mine will look better. (of course this is personal preference), yet I find that I get the same reaction at every car show. The GTS Vipers have some of the nicest lines of any car ever made. The red with white stripes is just awesome. The blue with white is also really nice as well. Those two colors are just hot. The other GTS Vipers are nice looking but I don't think they have that hottness that the Red and blue have.
The SRT's are nice looking but I think they lost some lines when they evolved.

Comparing the Vet to a Viper is like comparing a Hooter girl to a supermodel.
Yes the Hooter girl is good looking and very tapable, but a supermodel is well "Super tapable". Hence the reason they have posters and even "action figure doll's lol"
