At least not in a Chrysler uniform- he has bolted along with some other car guys now that Cerebus has brought in a disciplinarian. What this means for the Viper who knows? But clouds are gathering on the horizon I fear.

From a CNN business article:

Now comes Nardelli, brandishing his Six Sigma credentials and his GE by-the-books training. His mere arrival has already forced the exit of several talented car guys. Wolfgang Bernhard, a former Chrysler and Mercedes executive, has left the building. Considered a sure thing to become Chrysler's new chairman, he's declared that family considerations prevent him from taking the job. Eric Ridenour, Chrysler's young and up-and-coming chief operating officer, has also bolted. Tom LaSorda, the popular president, took a demotion to stay with the company, but the chances of the easygoing LaSorda coexisting with the hard-charging Nardelli are slim to none

I commented on this in the other post. I will say this though. Maybe he can get the unions in order. We can't continue in the U.S. with our current union situation. Get rid of them! They had a place back in the day but they are worthless in today's global market!

Just my .02 of course.

I have to agree with this statement. I have had to deal with union labor before and it was a complete joke. But, it is actually better than dealing with an American Indian Tribe. We have had several on the reservation come and demand a job but wouldnt take a drug test. They said we were discreminating

The unions have waay too much political clout with the Dems, and it seems like the winds are starting to blow hard out of the left. As long as the Dems have the power, the unions will never be challenged with any veracity. It doesn't matter if it makes sense. It only matters because it will cost votes.

Lawrenzo,

You are on the cusp of a neg rep for the incorrect use of the 'not be down for breakfast' usage. This statement implies that the individual(s) have passed on. I thought, WTF? was he on that Viper bike or something and didn't pull it off?

next time... NEG REP!
