cool... I'm not worrying about track time. not yet... I just need to show off my new car for now. I must have to get used to it right now. I watch utube and watch the vipers do all those burn outs and 360 with know problems.

Try taking the wood block out from under the far right pedal. They install these at the dealer. Remember if they asked you if you ever had a viper before. I bet you said no. Also, take out the honey combs in the intake out. It frees up an extra 25rwhp. Dodge put them on so the car would pass emissions.

In first gear bring the rpm up to 3000+. Once you reach 3000 rpm take your foot all the way off the gas, then immediately after that stab the throttle to the floor. Do not progressively give it throttle, just put the pedal to the floor and the car will spin it's tires.

Got bad news for ya, Doc. The '08 has two throttle-by-wire throttlebodies pirated from the 4.7. It also has CAN bus. Speed density engine management seems to be gone too, as two mass air flow meters are resident in the intake tubes. Now, to follow the trend of ABS/ESP equipped Chrysler/Dodge throttle-by-wire vehicles, starting with the Crossfire, then the 300/Charger and following with the Durango and Grand Cherokee, I'd say traction control will be a reality. On the up side, it's easily defeated by pulling the fuse for the abs module.

Brian, I dont have a viper yet but i drove my friends 06 coupe. It is actually pretty easy to light up the tires. with a viper you can just stomp it in first or second and it should just break loose the tires. be careful when you do so cause when i did it i lost control. I even light it up on a 30-40 mile roll. try not to take everyone seriuosly they picked on me alot too. lol

Brian, before you kill yourself trying to peel out can you put your dad on here for a while? I want to see if he in fact is a burnout or if he was just unaware that his sperm looked like the drummer for Def Leppard and swam in a circle before somehow fertilizing the egg when you were created.. Can you give us an updated Chromosome count as well?
