running the michelin ps2's..........275/30/20 Fronts and 335/30/20 Rears.....quite happy with the look even though most would have used the pirelli 345/25/20 out back I am one that likes the taller tire out back. Dealt With John and Chip at CCW.....top notch guys, took 10 days to make and have my wheels in my hands. They forgot the front centre caps but when I called they shipped them out immediately and I got them 3 days later......Im quite happy with the result and the new look of my car, I highly reccomend ccw wheels for their product and outstanding service.
Are you that big of a wuss that you'll let public opinion on a message board form decisions for you? Why do you care what anyone else thinks...do what you want to do....I happen to think the red lip looks bad ass - can't go by pictures...the srt never looks good photographed - but in person its stunning in the right colors (eg. silver is crap)
Grow a set - paint them red - and ditch the front plate - wah wah $110 ticket...all you have to is take a photo of your car with the plate on and if you get a ticket y you can mail it to the court that the plate has been put on (even though it hasn't) and the ticket is tossed...EVERY time

a) The red lips look like shit and anyone that has them on their car also has a dead hamster riding the wheel in their pinshaped head
b) You can not "mail" tickets and have them tossed in Canada. EVERY time you mail them in, you either check the "I plead guilty, included is my check, fuck you" box, or "I plead not guilty and let's go to court".
In court.....the judge asks the cop "did he have his plate on". The cop says "no". The judge says "Fuck me? no fuck you" and hits you with the ticket, plus the court fees.
Your only hope is if the cop doesn't show and then its thrown out.
Im leaving the wheels alone. Paid too much money for them to take that kinda chance and now i have the power bug so the money is better spent on go faster parts. Thanks for all the compliments.
The wheels look beautiful the way they are but everyone has their opinion what looks good and what doesn't. Some like the painted lip look, doesn't make them idiots, gay or whatever. After all there are people who think Vipers are butt ugly, to each their own.
heres a pic of a red srt 10 vert like mine that was previously listed on ebay.....it has red and black painted hre wheels....looks badazzz and thats where i got the idea......In Canada front plates are required and if your caught without it the fine is $110 bucks.....I put it on cuz I dont want the hassle and dont want to give the coppers a reason to pull me over.........anyway here are the pics of the car I was talking about with the red and black wheels.

Sorry, but I have to say it. THose old wheels are hoooorrrrribbbbllleeeee! MY gf and I saw a red 997 turbo this weekend with the same set up (red lip and black centers) and her comment was "what is wrong with that car"

If you've left them alone (like in the first pics you posted), then I'll say INCREDIBLE - Looks awesome! If you ever paint those lips red, I'll have to throw up a little in my mouth and just wonder why someone driving a Viper would do such a thing ...
