I'll spare you all the details (for now at least ) but I'm starting a new business venture with a friend of mine.......So for starters who would be interested in I forged wheels if there wasn't a 6 to 8 week wait??, I, for one CAN'T STAND waiting for something after I decide I need it LOL. We will be offering lots of choices with tires mounted and balanced as well. It will make buying these wheels as it should be......order, and a week or so later you install the new wheels/tires on your car. We'll be stocking several different combos. shortly!!!
How about getting the wheels which were paid for after a 6 week wait, have them sent out with imperfections, send them back for repair or replacement, and no word 6 weeks later?

Are you kidding me??? I told ya you should have ordered them from me Ray!
Sorry, I know that wasn't funny Who did you get them from?
I've had great luck with the 10 or so sets I've ordered
Place I ordered through is ART. They are at the mercy of I-Forged. The first 10 or 12 sets they received were done quickly as well... now it is 8 weeks and cannot get anywhere with Vince.
Hearing about the same problems with other dealers as well.
First off I do like the style of the iforged wheels but the unfortuante part is the company SUCKS when it comes to customer service. I had a set of these wheels chrome centre with polished lip. If the rim was offered all chrome maybe I would take my chances but being as i forged is not offereing chrome anymore I would not give these wheels to my enemy.
All the nuts rusted with not 1 second of winter driving, the lips needed polishing everytime I washed the car. Now the worse part is some of the lip can not be polished because of the nuts that hold the wheel together.
Nice looking wheel pain in the ass to up keep and customer service is some of the worst in the business!
I wish I had a heads up before purchasing the wheels but I never found out about all of the problems until it was too late when other people mentioned they had the same problems.

P.M.'s replied guys
As for you Steve....., this is exactly why I want to become a stocking dealer I want to eliminate the issues prior to end user If I have the wheels in stock and inspected *personally* before being shipped to the customer then wait time is dramatically reduced and wheel issues are virtually eliminated!!! As for having a polished lip......well if you're driving in salt/snow polished IS NOT a good idea no matter whose wheel it is (fwiw). Someone should have asked about your vehicle usage prior to allowing you to get those IMO. I personally am VERY picky so you won't have to worry about waiting 6 weeks to get wheels to find out they're damaged and send them back because I will have already inspected them and you would have them in a week or less WIN/WIN
