Hennessey Engine Management Computer Upgrade

Has anyone out there installed Henessey's Engine Management Computer Upgrade in a Viper. The website indicates a nice upward shift in horsepower across the rev range. For $800 it seems like a bargain however, I am becoming more skeptical with age. Further, I am guessing that these results are from a Ram SRT-10. Should this make a substantial difference?

fyi, the last one we did on a stock viper srt10 gained 8 rw hp and 17 rw torque.

800 bucks for 8hp huh? I think the money is better spent elsewhere. Something tells me this is a mod you get more from when you have more done, not on a stock car. A set of filters for 80 bucks will yield the same 8hp jump I bet...

That's my guess too. I assume that with an intake and full exhaust on the car, one would yield a more substantial increase in power.
