Don't know, but several co-current Viper and Z06 owners I know stated they will sell for the new "Blue Devil" when it become available.

I have full faith GM will Fu*k it up...

Only 77 yellow cars made of which 5 were verts that went overseas
AND ONLY 36 YELLOW/BLACK of which 33 are in the states...My Bumblebee has 150 miles 5 spokes and can be bought for 80.5K if someone is interested.

when all the 06's are sold and the dealers are getting high 80's for the 08 I think the 06 will firm up.

Also guys, you should all be aware that there are tons of Skip Barber/DC cars that are on the used market right now. Better do some research before you guys jump on what you think is a good deal. I was at a dealership just today actually, and they had a solid blue SRT-C with 4K miles on it for only $64,000. I wish I had taken down the VIN, because my guess is that it was a Skip Barber car.

I bought this car below invoice but still, that's a 15k hit in 9 months, I would hate to be the guy that paid close to msrp. I think there was dealer trunk money which inabled the dealers to sell off there remaining inventory way under invoice. Or is it the 08 with more power.

Any other thoughts............
My advice would be to get rid of the old and in with the new as quick as possible. My 08 is so much better than my 06 its untrue. The 06 is gonna drop like a stone once more people feel and try the 08. Good luck with the sale.

Stop wasting band width, why don't you tell us some thing we don't know like jumping off the London bridge and tell us how long it takes to hit the water.

Screw it, I think I'll keep mine and make 600, headers and a 100 shot should do it .

There were 87 Viper GTS Blue coupes with silver stripes and 5 spoke wheels made (my combo). 7 of them went overseas. I guess with such a small overall number of Vipers produced, pretty much any combo is going to be rare. After hearing some of these prices, I'm feeling a little bad about paying $80K for mine even though the sticker was over $91K. However, they did give me $20K on my '96 C/E Vette (27K miles) for a trade.

I don't think I did too badly overall, but it sounds like I should have done some more research on these plummeting prices. I also believe the Viper is about the only model I can think of where the coupe costs more than the convertible. I consider the Z06 a different situation since the regular Vette comes in a targa or vert and the vert costs more. Anyway, enough of my ranting for now. What's done is done and I love my car!

Got the same car at the same price, I guess that leaves 78 strangers out there that need to post.

One of them is still sitting on the showroom floor where I bought my car in Ft. Worth, TX. Unfortunately for the future owner, they took the 5-spoke wheels off of it and put them on another Viper. They replaced them with the standard wheels. I asked them about it and they said they'd just reduce the price by the amount of the optional wheels. If I were to buy that car though, I'd insist they put a set of the 5 spokes back on it. They're listed on the sticker and should be on the car in my opinion.

Is anyone else on here a color, stripe, wheel brother to OU812 and I???

I think the introduction of the 08 viper is causing some people to just ship early, which is raising supply and not demand. On top of that, the Z06 prices really brought the prices of the viper down.
