I'm thinking of trading in my SRT-8 for a Viper, but have a couple questions. Any of you use your Vipers as daily drivers? I am not planning to, but I will be using it more than just a weekend car, so I was wondering how the driveability is. My second question is, I was told that the car is hard to get in and out of, and that was by a person who is 5'8". Thanks!
i drove a GTS daily for about a year ... put about 16k miles on it... no problem at all...
they are a little difficult to get in and out of ... you just have to learn and get used to it ... its not that bad. im 6'1" and dont have any problem.
Since I moved to San Diego I use mine pretty close to daily. It's still nice to have a SUV around, but as far as comfort goes I have no problems (6'4" 245).
I have attempted to get into a Lotus elise, that makes getting into any other car seem easy I dont commute with mine or anything but I probably drive it every other day and haven't had any problems.

I use to valet, and lotus elise by far is the hardest thing to get into. Unless the top is off then you just walk into it.

I don't get how you're comfortable?!?! You're 3" taller than me, and I'm cramped as hell in mine, although I have the stock seat rails.
I would imagine you have a seat lowering kit in yours, right?
I put 10k miles in almost 4 months.(my commuter/everyday car) Im also running the catless mopar race exhaust! Very comfy seats too, im 6'0 185 lbs and have no problem getting in, you kinda learn to just slide and drop into the seat!
I put about 6k miles a year on, but thats Minnesota. Put 10k miles on the c5 vette for the year that i had it. Im sure if i lived in SD or nice conistent climate I'd be in it everyday
Mike I think you might have a lot more ass then Adam
Not necessarily, I've just had my seat widened but don't have the lowering kit. Now, on the rare occasion that I let a friend drive, I find the passenger seat relatively uncomfortable.

I find that seat uncomforable no matter what car I am in!
Prior to getting mine, all that I read was that it was competely not an every day driver.
That is totallllll horseshit.
If you drive it easy, the car imo is as tame as anything I've ever driven.
Only time I'd say I wouldn't want to drive it daily ??
Is when it's hot as hell out..
Then, I can see it ..
I'm 6'2 225 and w the RT I barely make it but I do make it..
Most common mistake, have to get in the car ass first...
Either way man, don't believe what you read.
Those articles are written by pussies that have driven some sort of luxurious / economy, or expensive car...
I personally think It's more comfortable than My c5. ( EXCEPT for the A/C ).
