bought mine last July and drove it every day until Decenber when the white stuff started falling. Summer in Albq. is pretty hot but I had no problems with the cold a/c.
I wish I could drive my srt vert everyday but it is extremely unreliable, I only have 6000 miles on it and it's already been serviced 8 times. 5 of those times it was undriveable. Differential went out once, fuses blew twice, battery died another time and the clutch went out once.

DAMN!
I never heard of soo many problems with a gen 3 car.
I've only had mine for a bit over a month, but I drive it every chance I get. Being that we only have a few months of good weather before the snow starts falling I have to make the best of it. I'm 6'0 185lbs and its NO problem for me at all.
Actually its a very nice everyday car...though i need to do something with the stereo for those traffic jam days.
Like many others here, I bought mine as a 'toy car', but have been enjoying it as a daily driver. In the 15 months since it was new it has covered about 24,000 miles.
Considering I don't work, and have three other cars to drive that seems like a lot of miles, but it's too much fun to leave at home.
I wouldn't want to drive in on ice or snow, but rain doesn't deter me. Fortunately where we live we have laws against ice & snow, so that's no problem. Mother nature wouldn't want to end up in the slammer would she?
Before I bought mine, I read a lot of articles about how harsh the ride was and how uncomfortable it is to be in. They all talk about burning your legs on the sidepipe covers. In reality, for a sports car, it's quite a suprise. The ride is not THAT harsh. And the side pipe covers are warm, but your not going to blister yourself like all the pansies say. Im about 6' 220 and have a wide frame, but have no problems with driving it every day. Obviously driving in the snow is out, but driving in the rain is no problem if you keep your foot out of it.
Although I don't use my Viper as a Daily commuter. I do drive it daily. I've got a 25 mile counry road loop that I enjoy running. Lots of small hills and long turns, it's really ideal to put a viper through its paces without driving much over the limit.
I've never had any problems with my viper aside from my crank pully coming loose once. Just make sure you service your viper regularly, and use good driving practices. Contrary to popular belief, the car does not make you invencible
