you cant see it because it is built into the interior of the interior. I assume many sports cars have a support bar like this included inside those inner workings mandated by law for roll support and structural integrity.

I realize that you can not see it , what I was saying is that I don't recall reading about or coming across any tech info pointing out the roll bar.........
It looks pretty sissy to me. Having sawz-all'd the roll hoop out of the GTS - I can assure you the Gen II roll hoop was a HELL of a lot beefier - that doesn't make me feel good about tracking a new coupe, either.

You did not read about it because it needs to extend down to the frame rail to be considered a roll bar. That is just a brace/mount for the hard top.

When we rebuilt the GTS - I didn't take as many pics as I should have... however, here's one. Note that the welding gloves are on the factory roll bar.
