I just thought I'd do a quick intro... After driving and racing a number of hondas and Mercedes amg models, I finally did myself a favor and made a long time dream come true. I still remember when the Viper concept was debuted here in detroit, I was still too young to drive, but I promised myself I'd own one someday. Fastforward to yesterday when I took delivery of a 06 Srt-10 conv. Red with Black stripes and SRT wheels.
Unfortunatly I had to drive the car home in a monsoon, and it really hasnt been nice today either, so pics will have to wait until the weather clears a bit.
Look forward to learning all I can from you guys, and if any of you attend the Nasa races in the michigan/ohio area let me know!!

I am 100% with you on this. I've been roadracing since I was about 18 yrs old, in that time I've learned the lesson of what happens when you Don't respect the machine you're piloting.
The inch of standing water on the expressway last night also fueled my humility
Welcome aboard, Speedpak! My '06 SRT Coupe is only 2 months old and I love it more every time I drive it. I think you're going to enjoy the characters on here too. Lots and lots of Viper (and other car) experience to learn from. Congrats and the best of luck with your new ride!
Did you get it from Woodhouse? I was looking to replace the '05 I wrecked (caused by driver error combined with run-crap tires) and talked to Bill Pemberton several times about the Red/Black striped '06 vert he had. But he wanted way too much IMO so I bought a modded Yellow '05.
Either way, congrats on the purchase and enjoy...lets see it!
