Im thinking of picking one of these up for a company car. My question is how is the ride and comfort quality. Can you live with this car pretty easily? I love the looks and performance but do not want to sacrifice comfort. Thanks!

I think it was *gasp* Motor Trend that even liked this American car!

Seriously tho' Chris aka Kansas (you know who!) owns one. Why don't you pm him with more to the point questions.

My father owns a 300C and although similar yet different, the 300 C is an awesome car for it's value and styling.

My opine,

A friggin' awesome car.

I like it, its a nice car. Its got a comfortable ride, and some nice features. I have done some mods to mine, heads, intake manifold, cam, and headers. I ran a 12.9 with a 2.01 60' with no tuning on it. People with the same mods as mine and a B&G flash have done low 12's.

Problems to look for:

1. Front end suspension clunk when you drive.
2. Brakes warping...there is a TSB fix for this that gives you slotted rotors and new pads.
3. Bubbling dashboard.
4. Heavy vibration at 80mph...there is new alignment specs that will be covered under warranty.

I have driven these on a number of occasions and seriously considered getting one as my company car as well!

Its as nice as as any 540 or A6 4.2 I've ever owned - and I've had a few....

Very nice fit and feel as well as the performance.

It's an AWESOME ride with some trick features (Kicker stereo option will shame a good number of the aftermarket systems out there). Probably the best value on the road and underrated from the factory when it comes to HP in my humble opinion. With a 17% driveline loss on an automatic, figure roughly 450 HP on mine (you were close swat, but you must be gettin' old with that failing memory of yours!).

I bought my uncle an SRT8 Magnum (I understand some guys that don't know what a "magnum" is). He loves it. There are good aftermarket parts out there. You can literally bolt on heads/intake in your driveway. Throw on a magnaflow on top of that and you're at 500hp (crank). Once they really get the computer figured out, it'll be fun.

If you have a deep pocket, go to www.indyheads.com and for 13k + your motor you can get a 426 hemi to go in it.

You guys are making this decesion too easy. I think I am going to pick up a good used one and save myself about $10k to $12k. But the 0% for 72mths is very tempting right now.

If you want a used one, mine might go for sale, I want to upgrade to a Viper. 14k miles, with Indy cylinder heads, intake manifold, PPP cam, Kooks headers, and a B&G Stage 2 flash. PM me if interested. The indy 426 upgrade would only cost you another 5300 from what I have.

If it rides anything like my Folks SRT-8 Charger, it is a great ride and a very fun car. Dad added the Billy Boat exhaust and mopar CAI, we are taking that and my SRT-10 to the track this weekend to see how they run. Granted the track is at 6000 ft static elevation, so mid 14's are probably about all they will do, however it will be fun.
