Exhaust & Gear change , Tuning ??

Hey guys , On a 06 if you replace the stock exhaust with 3 " Random tech hi flo cats with 3" open chambered mufflers and Green filters, Along with 3.55 gears . Will the computer calibrate its self for the improvments ?
If so how many miles will it take.

Or will I need to get a tune done.
I just did all this to mine and it runs great The exhaust is sweet sounding.
The new gear is great !!
but I just want to make sure I'm not running lean or out of tune to far.

Plus I took the rear wheel well liners out and put Hush mat on them , Wow you can't believe the differents ! no road noise from the rear tires any more.
I am taking the seats out in the morning and putting Hush mat in the rocker panel area and behind the seat to quite the exhaust noise some.
Thanks again.

Oh no, you combustion chambers will detonate without the X54 flash adjustment, please tell me you did it or it might be too late and you have permenant damage to your motor. Is black smoke coming from your tail pipes?

J/K your PCM is always recalibrating itself for mods and driving habits

LOL , Yes the X54 Flash would be way to late !!

I thought that It did but just wanted to make sure.
Just how long will it take to adjust it self ? I have heard 30 miles or so but not sure about it.

Haha, yeah 30-50 miles, I put a whole new exhaust and the 3.55s on mine. Some black smoke came out of my tailpipes for a while when the PCM made it run rich to protect the motor, then "learned" the change.

Just got back from another run.
Feels like it runs much better. The exhaust is so sweet sounding.
It's loud and proud !!
I took all the interior out today and put the hush mat on every surface.
What a differents that made. The exhaust was crazy loud inside the car until now. I'm going to put in in side the doors to.
