You are one BRIGHT DUDE ! We dont have to bid on our own auctions. It does nothing and also scares away potential bidders. However, i do have better things to do than be like you and study all of someones auctions and try to find things to dog them on. I bought the car from Cats. Yes it was consignment, but sent NO money to anyone other than cats. Yes, i 100% did spend OVER $80k. Dont care if you believe it or not because it is true. Now, go save some of your money so you can buy the car on your avatar! That is/was Roys car. If you bought it, GREAT, but I DOUBT THAT! Get a LIFE!

I can say personally that Shelby is very honest. He has a tremendous business in Jonesboro Arkansas.
I bought my 2006 Coupe back in January, my first purchase from Elite Motors, for a great price. Shelby also took one of my cars and sold it for me on the internet. When I purchased the Viper it was late in the day and I had a 7 hr journey back home. Shelby and his wife took me out for dinner and ask me to stay with them over night, which I did (Not to many would do this). He has kept in touch with me asking how the Viper was doing and offering to help any way he could.
Ive purchased a lot of cars in my lifetime but this was the smoohest best transaction that Ive ever made on a auto. I highly recommend Elite Motors.

Gene, thanks for the kind words, but we were the ones lucky to get a customer as Nice and Friendly as you! It was one of my most enjoyed sales! You are a very good person and I doubt anyone would say otherwise. Again, the Viper looks AWESOME! You have done everything just as I would have and with TASTE! I love seeing your PHOTOS on the site of your car. You take some of the BEST pics! Hope you have MANY more hapy miles in the viper and when you get ready for any type of new car, call me, I will get Whatever you want and beat ANYONES price!

Out of respect for Blue Streak, who's a pretty cool old guy, I'm not going to get into it with you. However, I will offer you a piece of advice---when threads like this get nasty---don't respond. You can't win and all you'll accomplish is looking like an idiot and keep the thread at the top longer so everyone can see it. It runs out of steam without you. Get it?

Not trying to justify anything, was just pointing out that the information provided was incorrect. Funny how no one says anything about the fact that GREAT ONE started out saying it was sold for $78k. Then it was $79.5k (both of which are incorrect as far as what we paid). Had I been OFF on something $1500 you guys would have let me have it up and down and reemed me because I am a NOOB. Been on WAY too may of these forums and I see the same thing on every one. I am sorry to anyone I have offended, ETC ETC. Was no intention to treat anyone with anythi9ng other than respect. I do wish some people would turn the tables for a minute and look at it from my point of view. Anyway, its over. Best wishes to anyone and everyone on the forum!
So, did the car sell or not? The bid ended with the reserve not met.
Funny, The high bidder emails me early in the auction . I tell him the reserve (which was $87k) He bids $1 under the reserve and then NO CONTACT after the auction. Gets frustrating when people play games, but Oh well, I just get to play with it a little longer. And that does not bother me a bit because the car is SOOO much fun!
