Well guys, finally got it all together. I'll be taking it to have it aligned hopefully tomorrow. I drove it to the gas station and back to let the springs properly seat and my first observation is the steering. The steering wheel feels tighter and doesn't want to wander. The ride is a definite improvement.
I may bring the front end up another 1/2 inch and the rear another 3/4. Does this stance looke correct? Mark Jorgenson (Woodhouse) said that there needs to be at least a 1" difference from the front to the back (frame to ground) and at these settings it has that. It looks like it might need a little more rake. What are your guys opinion?

Very nice. I love the slammed look, but is that practical for daily/frequent driving? I think I would have it raised up a bit just for practicality.
That's why I was considering just raising a little. My wife drives the car on occasion and i would not want her hitting too many bumps at the wrong speed.
I know my roads very well around here, but roadkill or other objects is another factor. I don't want to play state worker by removing animal carcases from the road. It will make me pay more attention to the road that's for sure. To be this low isn't for everybody, just like the Viper isn't for everybody!
My wife seems to think the exhaust is louder. She may be right.
Personally, I don't like the lowered look at all. In my opinion, it looks ghetto and/or as if the car has broken shocks. It also makes the car look out of proportion since the fender wells do not follow the tires as well as they do at the original height. Most Viper enthusiasts seem to like it. If I buy those type of shocks in the future, it will be because of superior damping and adjustability, not for lowering. I don't mean to criticize your Viper. I am just offering another opinion. Good luck with it and let us know how it affects the handling and suspension action.
wow... it looks like your viper is playing limbo...it is slammed! looks good, but I would be worried it may rub or hit the lip of the fender on compression...
Thanks for the compliments and opinions. To give you an idea of the the way it was before I added the Motons, here is a link to a conversation about my car along with a friend of mine's ZO6:
My Viper ,with the motons, was about the same height but had to change it because of some real scraping problems. The rear diffusers were taking a beating.
About time you changed that avatar, and if you really want that car to live up to it's licence plate you better throw some mods on it. Intake, exhaust and headers, plugs and wires are a good kick, enjoy the coupe and all the Vette supporters comments on that site.
Just got back from the alignment shop. The guys there were commenting on how better it looked from the other day, and I couldn't agree more. The alignment guy said the wheels weren't even that bad off after lowering, but now they are perfect. I was going to raise it a little, fughettaboutit, I like it the way it is, and no bottoming out, i can't believe it. The ride is like night and day! Couldn't be happier, and money well spent.
Are you still running an otherwise stock car, including the stock run-flat tires, as I'm curious to see if there's any improvement with the wheel-hop issues?

Still got the run flats. I was talking to the alignment guy and he said something like " well, that oughta do it, you'll be able to keep the rubber from wearing out" and I said "at least the front anyway". He thought it was funny but I was being serious. I want to ditch these summitches right now.
I've got on it a few times and got sideways with it , an did not notive any wheel hop issue.
I think I'll be going with the PS2's. Still lookin' though.
Run flats are the weakest point in the Viper. Buy some P Zeros and you will really see a difference.
Not trying to be a smart-ass at all here, but what happens IF you get a flat tire? I guess, like the C5 ZO6, carry a can of fix-a-flat. Does this crap even work?
I'd really like to eliminate the wheel hop, or at least reduce it, but I don't want to drop thousands of dollars on Motons if it's not necessary. I'm satisfied with the ride height of the car for now.
