I will be taking my 05 viper to Infenenon (sears point) this wednesday for their wednesday night drags.....are there any local Vipers in North Ca. that might wanna join me, should be fun.

MikeR at what rpm did you launch at when ran 11.7? or did you roll off? ...let me know. This is the first time on with the viper.....use to run a a blown c5 and ran consistent 11's feathering off the line.

I found my best times were always when I launched as if I was just leaving a street light in town. Almost bogging a bit. If I launched hard it would wheel hop like crazy. Also, I dont know what tires you are on, but the with the runflats I ran about 26 PSI in rear for best results. Once the track warmed up I was getting consistent 1.8-1.9 60 ft's and ran probably 8 back to back 11.7-11.8's. Where previously in the day I was all over with a 13.xx some 12.5's, 12.0's.
After a few runs you will get comfortable. But again a warm track really helps. When it was cold I was spinning 1-3 gears, couldnt hook at all, even when I grabbed 4th just as I was crossing the line, it would spin. Once it warmed up it was all good. Then I got to spank a new C6 Z06. He couldnt get out of the 12's.
