I'm sure that this subject has been beat to death, but I am looking for opinions on the sound/loudness with Belangers. Let me know what your setup is and how you like it. Im in Michigan, and most Vipers are dormant. Let me know if any of you are up here that I might be able to contact you for a listen. Thanks in advance for your help.

You won't notice anything at idle, but when you get on it it get's much louder than stock.
Loud to the point where you can't hear each other talk? Belanger claims that with their system, you will get an additional 50hp. Has anyone ever dynoed this? Even if they don't run what is claimed, are about the same as other systems?
Excellent timing of this question as I have a set of Bellanger exhausts that I have not installed yet. I'd like to hear feedback on this as well.
I believe the statement is a 50hp gain without cats. I have the bellanger headers and cat back system with random tech cats and rear mufflers. It is fairly loud but I kike it and you can surely hear a difference at an idle.
I made 496rwhp and 522rwtq with Kooks headers no cats and a Corsa Track. I'm sure a set of Belangers in place of the Kooks would yield similar results.
I can see somewhere around 50 rwhp being possible with belangers no cats and their exhaust with out the crossover. If you have a set of cats in there....it would be more like 25 rwhp.
Turnip is right about the sound. At idle it is not really noticable but when you go to WOT is is much louder...cleaner sounding too. With cats it's loud, but not too bad. With out cats you wont hear anything other than the exhaust note at full throttle.

Is there much difference in power/loudness between the RT cats and the stock? I don't want drone and would like to be able to hear the passenger - depending on what kind of mood she's in.

From what a few dyno shops told me, you will see maybe an honest 12RWHP with any headers on the gen3
My buddy put on Corsa, no cats dynod 471rwhp
He added Kooks headers a few weeks later and dynod 496 rwhp and a ton of torque and hp in the 3-5k range. Dont remeber the exact #'s. But with adding just headers he gained another 25 rwhp.
Im going to possibly go with Bellangers and see what difference it makes between the two header companies. I would say a header/exhaust /no cats package is a great bang for the buck. Nice power, great sound. Its too bad they cant come from the factory already set up like this.

The little extra treat is the weight and heat reduction from eliminating the cross tubes!
