There was a thread on the VCA, The heading said "this is an outrage, can I sue Dodge"----------when i clicked on the thread it was not available, then it was gone.....Did anybody read it before it was gone ? inquiring minds want to know..
Read it. The guy had installed aftermarket headers for his SRT and had transmission problems. The tranny was fixed earlier, but then developed a problem going into reverse. Jiffy Lube ran the codes and came up with two O2 sensor errors and one transmission error. Dealer refused to work on it and much huffing ensued. Guy posts lawsuit thread and gets this as one of the replies:
"The secondary 02 sensor when burnt will INDEED affect your reverse. Something to do with the solonoid. Check your fuse for the 02 sensor and I'm certain you will find it blown. It will be very difficult to get into reverse with the blown fuse. Even if you change the fuse, you'll still need to replace your 02 sensors. I don't care how many times you replace the 02 sensors, they will always melt the wiring. VERY BAD DESIGN IMHO with respect to the positioning of the 02 sensors on the exhaust. You'll need 02 simms to trick the computer. This is the only way you will get rid of the check engine light and re-engage the reverse gear. NO OTHER WAY!!"
So, rather than have a big fat "LET'S SUE DODGE FOR SOMETHING I DID" subject header (not to mention something the guy wasn't proud of after the correct web diagnosis), the post got yanked and the guy notified why. No problem.

What kind of headers are they?
Do all aftermarket headers cause this?
Thanks
