there is also a clear powder coating over the polished metal, so you probably dont want to use a metal polishing compound unless you nolonger have the clear protective coating
There are also two different 5 spoke wheels the one shown above, and the SRT-Sidwinder that was standard on the Copperhead edition and possibly some others(they came polished), but JonB at PartsRack Online Shopping - Home had/has them in a painted silver finish. BTW these are the silver painted finish
Note that the polished 5 spokes do not have a lip like the Sidewinders...each are unique and IMO, a lot better than the 10 spokes, which I had on '05 before going with the polishd 5 spokes. And my replacement '06 will have them as well.
mine also came with the 10 spoke boat anchors, in '03(note grey brake calipers), and i changed the wheels last spring and they make a huge difference in handling and reponsiveness to the suspension(as removing 35lbs of unsprung rotating mass will tend to do!)

Any ideas as to what is the best stuff to polish and clean them with?
nothing abrasive, soap and water with a brush(not metal bristles) or sponge, and real easy way to make them easier to clean is to put(and keep) a good coat of wax(yes car wax) on them and it will make it much much easier to clean the next time.
Anyone have a picture of these on a GTS. I've seen a picture of them on a RT/10 car, but it's not the same.
Ricketts
You wouldnt happen to have that pic of the RT/10 with the 5 spokes, would you? Ive been thinking about getting a set, and havent been able to find any pictures those wheels.
