Hi everyone, this is my first time on this site. I have recently purchased a 2004 Dodge Viper SRT/10 Convertible. I will be posting up pictures a little later, I am making little modifications in the interior of the car. I need some help with removing the stock shift-nob. I did follow some instructions given with removing the round cap first and pushing the leather sleeve down, I see the big hex nut i believe it's called and the smaller nut underneath it. I have put a wrenches on both of them but they are not budging whatsoever. I'm not a small guy but this is not budging, I don't want to break something and then end up screwing myself but any help is needed. Thanks. =)
Mine broke loose fairly easy. I know it sounds dumb, but make sure your twisting the lower nut the right way. And dont be afraid to use a little force, Crack it loose and the nut will spin down and then you can twist the knob on up and off.

Yeah, what he said. I installed a MGW knob during Christmas, took about 15 minutes. Big differenmce in feel I hate the stock shift knob. Its sooo freaking tall.
