No Rice's thread has me really wanting his viper. I've considered selling my truck for some time. I did what I wanted to do with it, now I want a viper car. Here are some details:
05 Silver SRT-10 QC.
Motor has all the goodies: Billet Mains, rods, pistons, Striker heads, jessel rockers, Vec II and Roe SC. Indy Cylinder Head (
Indy Cylinder Heads) built the motor. It also has bellanger headers and magnaflow exhaust.
The truck uses a top mount twin screw supercharger. I have an 8,000 dollar all billet tranny. It has a piece driveshaft. I replaced the rear and upgraded all of the parts. It currently has a 4.56 gear. It has aftermarket wilwood brakes. The stock rear has to be totally replaced in order for a 15" rim to be used. When racing, I used a Hoosier 10.5" outlaw tire, works awesome.

This day there was a 20mph head wind. With a 100shot it will run 10.70's on a conservative tune. Not bad for a weight of 5760lbs. My truck is at Roe at this point. I ate an oil pump 2 months ago. I had a new one cryo'd which is the fix for it and reinstalled. While doing that, I had the entire motor tore apart and inspected to make sure everything was good. Threw new rings/bearings in it.
I have well over 100k into this truck. Mostly because I was the first to do a lot of these things. Am I crazy for wanting to get 60k out of this?
