no clearance around exhaust manifolds

How many have found melted wires around the heat shields of the gen. 3's?? I have come across a couple that had the hot cable from the battery melting on the shield!
Every gen. 3 I get in here I spend a day rerouting the wires and the coolant hoses for more room.
I'm really surprised there hasn't been any fires yet.

I've seen black stuff melted onto the heat sheilds - from the 02 sensor wires that get really close on the passenger side.

I reroute those wires. The exhaust sheild is actually pinching those wires.
