Eibock springs

Is everyone using the Eibock spring kit for lowering? Summit shows a kit # 2830-140 fits them all - I have a 06.

If you going to install Motons would you still need these springs?

The motons are adjustable coilovers correct? So you can adjust ride height with them I am assuming. I have Aldens on one of my other cars and that is how I adjust ride height with it.

So would you use the Eibock springs with the motons?

I just had the club sport motons installed on my 2006 coupe. The kit came with custom Eibach springs and also helper springs.

Got mine from Woodhouse with spring rate of 800 rear and 500 front.

Supposed to be 1 - 1.5 inches - but I am pretty new at this Viper thing so don't know all the application details.

With the motons you can slam it. Since I have the lower 18 & 19 pirelli tires my Viper was lowered quite a bit. No rubbing at all.

I wanted to try the performance springs before the motons-they lowered the Viper good but the ride was very bouncy and had some control issues ,and was told that their is a danger that shocks can blow especially when slamming with performance springs.

With the motons and slammed the ride is great and control is very very good. The motons are worth every dollar spent on them. Much better ride than with performance springs or stock set up. Plus you can not only adjust height but compression and rebound.

I just cannot say enough good things about the motons. Adam who installed the motons and set them up for my Vper said "what a difference in the ride -you will be very pleased."

Gene, glad that you are enjoying them! Now take Adam and make some videos so we can see what it does. Looks like I will be going up to Kentucky in April so I look forward to it.

Your welcome Bruce.
