That purple will look great. Chevy had a deep purple like that in the early 90's called "black rose". They had the color on the ZR1 with light gray leather interior. It looked really good. The deep metallic red looks really good, also. The aqua looks more like a plain, old light blue. It looked better in the other examples since that color was more truly an aqua color. The light blue doesn't look good to me, especially on a Viper.

Not really. He has the only GTS ever made in that color combo. It would have been worse for the guys that bought the First and VCA edition SRT's to have new SRT's made in the same color.

That actually makes me really happy... was I the only FE SRT guy concerned??
What happened to the copperhead color? They should have improved it like Chevrolet did on the Z06 this year, by making it much brighter. If they were to make a Viper with the same orange metallic as the 2007 vette, it would look terrific, especially with a silver stripe on it. The green blows.
I love the SRTC with and without stripes, but Im going to have to say that with this new hood, Im thinking a no stripes SRTC will look best. It will show off the hood more.
...Then again, all Chrysler really needs to do is make the concept Viper that everyone likes and drop all the rest of the colors! All of us Viper loons want that car over any of those above.

all i know is that i am already commited to purchasing a 2008 and even though silver is my color of choice (but not offered; fuck you very much DC) im seriously considering purple. i fully accept that to each his own for opinion but i am just suprised at a negative reaction to purple. the red second from left is tits as well.
