I have a 2004. Is there an inexpensive way to drop the car 1/2" without purchasing new suspension components? I also do not want to change the ride drastically?
Lowering spring caps (I think that is what they are called). They drop the car about 1/2 of an inch, so that is probably what you are looking for. I'll post a link if I can find one.
Thanks for the pics. Looks sweet. Problem is just got the Viper, and my sugar Momma helped me get it, so she will go ape shit when she sees the UPS man coming this week!
Not necessarily. If the geometry is unchanged there would be no need. I'm not familiar with the mod they are referring to so I can't say for this mod. Are you suggesting, Kenny, that the geometry is changed with this mod?

If you lower the car, it creates more negative camber on both the front and rear (on an IRS car) wheels. Minimally with the amount of drop he is going to get, but I would still re-align on my car/
FYI - Talked the the dude at the link you gave me, and in early 2007 they will stock springs for around $350 that will drop the car an additional 0.60" about. I think he said with the caps, the total would be around 1" in the back and 3/4" in the front. So this would be the result after spending $600 total.

Much better deal than spending a few G's for whatever other shocks are on the market, although I am sure the others would be better for certain purposes.
