ceramic coating for side pipes ????

i want to put on a corsa exhaust and random tech cats to reduce heat.. i have been told i should wrap the pipes with insulation, i would like to ceramic coat them instead . i think it will last longer. can it be done on stainless steel ???? thanks for the replies

Stainless steel can be coated.

I haven't done my exhaust, but I had my headers coated. I was amazed at what a difference it made. Under-hood heat was substantially reduced.
