New MT Drag Radial Size

Reportedly, Mickey Thompson had one of the long promised 345/35/18 drag radials at SEMA.

This is the perfect size for the SRT-10. Can anyone confirm its presence at SEMA or have anymore info on sale date?

Is it better than the BFG drag radial?

I may be mistaken, but I think Heffner ran MT Drag Radials on Chad's car in the PGD's two years ago (on a smaller diameter rim). I've never run the tire, but I've heard the compound is pretty damn sticky.

In any case, my excitement is because of the size of the radial. As you know, those of us with SRT-10's are limited to 18" or larger diameter wheels. The only 18" drag radials available to us until now have been the BFG at 345/30/18, which I think is too short at 26.15" tall (stock tire diameter is 27.15") or the Nitto DR at 305/45/18, which is 28.81" tall, but narrower.

This new MT 345/35/18 offering is 27.51" tall, but doesn't give up any width, which means it will have a larger contact patch than any current offerings for an 18" wheel. It would be perfect for guys who want to run the SRT-10 brakes but have a sticky tire with some sidewall to it.
