Does anyone have left over factory shocks?

I have a set of Aldan Eagle shocks on my 04 SRT. I have them on for the ride height adjustment but I can't stand the performace.

I'd like to get some factory shocks, some shorter springs, then make some custom end caps to get the correct ride height.

Let me know if I'm headed in the wrong direction with this. I cannot afford Motons or other quality product right now, so I am hoping to get someone's left overs at a good price.

Thanks for the help.

Jeff

I have my OEM shocks and springs from my 2006 coupe. I switched over to Moton Club Sports and the drive is night and day once setup to your driving style.

Anyway...I have the OEM setup if you are intersetd...give me a shout 219-743-4119

Sorry but you spent how much "constructing" this car that eventually got wrecked and you can't afford needed shocks?

You DO NOT want to mess with fabricating your own shocks....it will end horribly for you. Save up and do it right...those manufacturers spend millions on perfecting their set ups and they are race tested...you are going to parts bin your own and you expect it to be

1) hold up
2) perform well

Yep. I am totaly strapped for cash as this car project was a killer.

That could be very true. I have always been very satisfied with the factory suspensions on my 94 and 2001 RT's. The 04 car always had Aldans on them and I thought they were bad from day 1. If they spent millions on developement, they did not spend it well.

The way I see it, I don't have much to lose by trying it. If I can get factory performance, I'll take it.

Jeff, the car looks very sweet at that ride height in the picture. I hope you can recapture that look with the factory adjusted.

Did you ever fix your car after it was damaged in Vegas?

I'm going to keep it simple with hardly any varience from stock. I cannot believe that I can do worse than whats on there now.

No, the car still has a bit of damage. I plan to redo the car this winter.
