Thanks! The car and driver are really coming into their own right now. Its going to be really hard to beat this car as long as I nail my starts and shifts correctly. There are not too many cars that are going to run that bridge to bridge at the speeds I am, especially if I can pick up that extra 500rpms I need to hit the bridge at redline in 5th gear.

Keep driving 198mph on public roads and that one time something goes wrong you'll be dead. But like everybody who dies in street racing that isnt going to be you right......

Again if you have skill as a driver why arent you taking your car to a track? Anybody can dump power into any car and jam the gas and beat someone in a straight line....true driver skill is determined on the track..where driving skill can compensate for much less power.

I am not sure who you claim I am...but it annoys me that straight line street racers think they have skill.

And keep driving that fast on public roads and see what happens....only a matter of time before you are dead or in jail....but like everyone before this happens you're convinced it wont be you.

Best of luck with that

Straight line street races are supposed to not be about skill. They are supposed to be about the car. What track can you take a car to and really get to see which car is better in a straight line from a given speed. Certainly not a drag strip!!! Some guys would rather see who has the better car... not the better driver.

Again how do you define "better car"...by what can go faster in a straight line? That is only one element of what makes a car great...and the point is you can make ANY CAR fast in a straight line...so by your logic a honda civic that runs in the 10s is a "better car" than a viper?

Faster in a straight line...sure anything can be...but "better"? NO WAY

Taking a car to a track that has both straightaways and TURNS you will see which is the overall "better car"...where other IMPORTANT things come into play like handling, braking, grip..etc....all of these things combined are what makes one car "better" than the next.

You are talking about which car is "faster in a straight line" not "better". If my sole purpose was to have a car to drag race people in a straight line on the street I wouldnt start with a viper...I would start with the lightest pos car I could find...add as much power and grip as possible...and make my run for street glory....but would I consider that a "better" option than the much slower ferrari, lambo, viper..? Hahahah hell no

How about you stop posting in my threads as you are clearyconfused and no one here, escpecially me the thread starter wants to hear your opininon. Ok? I can see how your are confused as you don't seem to be very intelligent with your posts as this current username, or any of the past 10 usernames you use to antagonize those of us on the board who don't give a shit what some pimply faced teenage dick you seem to be cares about or your opinion.

I can't believe we can't get this dumbass banned for good from this board? What's it take to ban him from ever creating an account again?

Who are you referring to?

And what part of my "better car" argument do you disagree with?

If you feel that performance in a straight line is the only factor that makes one car better than the next...that's you opinion and like an adult if you care to retort my comments please provide examples of why you do not agree..

Best regards

Alright douchebag lets break it down for you. Before anyone drives their car at speed on public roads or the track they have already run the risks/rewards through their head. My risk on the public road is I crash and kill myself and whoever is riding with me and possibly the guy racing in the next lane with me or I get caught and put in jail for a few hours, or nothing happens and my reward is I beat the hell out of someone in a straight line like I intended to. Same risks on the track except I don't go to jail if caught and the reward is the same. If racing in other than a straightline was my goal than I would be at the autocross track racing there, but it is clearly not my goal by my continued high speed postings here on this board. The skill I possess are the basic skills of being able to start at 70mph without spinning the tires and correctly shifting under pressure and keeping my car straight at 180mph+. They are not the same skills required to drive around a twisty course, but they are skills nonetheless, as any NHRA driver would point out to you. Now go back to bashing everyone about everything they do and continue to be your prick little self. You seem to have found something YOU are good at.

Nice to hear your value your futile street "bragging rights" more than your own life or those around you.....maybe you should re-evaluate your priorities in life. Clearly you don't have a gf/wife or kids...than you would see how pathetic your risk/reward trade-off really is. So the real douche in all of this is you and your juvenile pose' who value "street cred" more than life itself....I will end this now so you can go back to watching The Fast & The Furious for the 17th time today.

Maybe you should volunteer as an EMT for a week and see what bodies look like IN REALITY after a car wreck...maybe than you would have more regards for your own life...and even if not for that...at least the lives of those around you.

Hopefully you'll blow a tire while you're driving by youself and veer off into a wall (by yourself) and spare all of us anymore of your stupidity. Maybe some 16 year kid with a Viper on his wall as a poster thinks you are his hero...but to mature adults your aticts are juvenile and pathetic.

Spare me your childish retort....

As do I run the same risk/rewards through my head so do the others who choose to line up against me. So anyone who may die that day has chosen that possibility before racing. I sure hope your daddy left you alot of money as your skills at deducing who people are, are way off base. Maybe instead of coming to these boards to bash everyone who should try and get along and befriend some and then you wouldn't stick your foot in your mouth everytime you open it up. I won't spill my personal life to you, but those who know me on this board can really tell what an idiot you are.

And the topper, I am sure you are banned once again for that last remark. Buh Bye, again!

clearlyconfused, i see your point... and im sure everyone agrees that Racing on public highways/roads is extremely dangerous and stupid, especially if an accident occurs and it involves innocent by-standards.... but i have to admit it is dam hard to resist

Norice, i think it would be a way better comparision if both cars were given similar HP, but regardless, i still love watching these awesome races

NoRice you say you fully understand the risk/reward...but you don't. You think risking your ilfe is worth beating some guy in a Supra....ummm for what? So you can plaster a video online for people to say "yeah man".

Professional race car drivers know the risk....they are properly prepared, are in vehicles that are meant to survive a wreck, and ontop of that are paid a large amount of money in the process. You possess none of these things in your street racing wars.

Cloud this is not an attack on the guy who gives a little gas to see what his car can do when some idiot pulls up next to you. This guy is lining up and going in excess of 190mph on public roads.

His actions are immature so when he says he does weigh the risk/rewards in his head is an oxymoron statement...he lacks the sense to drive according to anywhere near a safe speed...what would give him the sense to understand the true magnitude of his actions.

Anyone who values their life...or the life of those around them...or the affect of the ones who love them in life would never do anything as stupid as this. By doing it he is making it clear he posseses none of these things. While professionals do it with CLEAR rewards (Money/fame/true skill challenege)...they also take into account all the risks (safe car, safe track, a full team to ensure safety, full medical crue to assist if anything goes wrong) this guy once again posseses none of that.

I am sure I am not the only one that thinks risking your life to say you beat a supra is STUPID..and the "reward" in doing so is not worth risking any life to accomplish.

Why is this an opinion that should prompt me from being banned from this board....it's your train of thought that is clearly warped

Alex,
What is the point of you coming into this thread and giving your view, when you know that it is a different view and an unwanted view in this thread? You think it is your responsibility to try and show the world how safe a person you are and try and convince some idiots who street races to change their ways? You are obviously just posting to post and see your name on the internet, so I will refrain from posting in MY OWN thread so I have to stop seeing your name all over the place. I on the other hand do not wish to see you die in a crash when you veer off into a wall driving the speed limit, even though it would save me reading through all your unwanted posts.

x X Cloud X x,
Yes it would be a better race if Danny's Supra was a little faster, but I am stuck racing whoever shows up and unfortunately there are only a couple cars capable of the speeds of mine that come to these roll ons. It will probably be a different outcome in the next race as he will have his new turbo on.

Alex, some people value living more than leading a long life. It is obvious that where NoRice races is a well scouted location and is really no different than a track, with the exception of no EMTs on standbye. If NoRice wishes to engage in a possible dangerous activity, how is it any different from skydiving, swimming with sharks, or wrestling alligators. If you want the thrill, and will hurt nobody else in doing it, then do it. He has weighed the risks and decided he is ok with them. I would much rather be killed doing what I love then die having never lived.

Why are you calling me Alex? 1st name is Preston

Location is really no different than a track????? That statement is so off base there is no point in even disecting it.

I had a simple argument that has gotten everyone so worked up

1) Making a car faster in a straight line doesnt mean its "better"
2) Street racaing @ 198mph is immature and shows no regard for your own life or those around you

Thats it. If this guy knows its stupid and does it anyway...well stupid is what stupid does. Thats his choice and hopefully only him will have to live with his consequences.

Clearly people are sensitive to others having a different opinion on this board....odds are many feel the same way I do.

And there are plenty of waves to "live life" without risking it in a stupid fashion....I doubt the last thing going through a sky divers head when his shoute doesnt open is "who cares I lived my life"

So I guess all those morons on motorcycles who fly in-between traffic at night are living life to the fullest too...

And I guess if one of these stupid street racers crashed and killed an innocent member of your family you would be so forgiving...because they did so living life to the fullest....and if you laugh and think it never happens....volunteer as an EMT and see for yourself

I guess I am againt this stupidity being praised...

That is the thing, NO ONE WANTS YOUR SIMPLE ARGUEMENT! GO AWAY!!! Are you honestly that stupid to think that people want you here snakeaddict?? Your welcome is no longer needed. Goodbye or get banned one or the other. Ok now we can carry on with our discussion since we don't have to worry about defending ourselves or have some idiot give his stupid thoughts. Great vid, great car and if you want to race down the road at 200 mph then great that is your choice. I have done it before and will do it again. It is called a passion of mine. Now I won't do it in traffic with alot of people on the road but if you can tell from the vid that no one was in front of he or the supra. I can't say that it is wrong or right because you make your own choices. I think it is cool to see a car fly past me actually lol. Can't wait for more vids and I will try to get some up too.
