Which Tuners Use the VEC2?

Anyone know what tuners out there use the VEC2 on their cars?

I know that some use the AEM exclusively, and some do their tuning with the factory ECU.

What reputable tuners (other than Sean Roe) are experts at tuning with the VEC2?

I think most tuners use VEC2 for some applications. AEM seems to be an upgrade or part of the big power packages. My TT car came w/ a VEC2, I upgraded.

If you can do AEM, you can do VEC2... but not necessarily the other way around. The VEC2 ought to be renamed the VEC Virus as once you understand what it is doing, you won't be pleased.

it is an OK device that has a purpose. but I wouldn't trust it to a high hp car. my definityion of a high-hp car is a car that had injector requirements over 55lb or a car w/ a lumpy cam (aka: a car that needs its idle adjusted up).

but the VEC is pretty simple. VEC2 = 2D. AEM/Motec = 3D. biiiiig difference.

VEC2 will pass emissions, AEM will not.
Making it pretty important for tuners to use both when needed.

Yes.

Until the AEM becomes OBDII compatible, it just isn't an option for me.
