2 Questions

First question...

Last night I was riding around in my Viper and decided to do something rather stupid...I was bored and decided to do a doughnut! After the doughnut I went to the gas station to pick up some coke and went back to my friends house. Once I arrived there we ordered some pizza and started drinking some jack and coke. Literally HALF hour later about 6 cops show up at his door asking to speak to the owner of the mitsubishi eclipse

I told them there was not a single mitsubishi eclipse at the house...then he said he wanted to talk to the owner of the orange sports car outside. So i told him that was me and he asked me to step outside.
His first question was how much i had been drinking and then went on about how he could get me for DUI and other

So after talking for a while he let me know that an undercover cop had seen me do doughnuts and gave me a ticket for aggressive driving. So now i have court on the 18th. What do you guys recommend i do??
Any cops or lawyers in here? What do you guys think?

Second Question...

Has anyone raced an SE Gallardo?? I have raced numerous 04 Gallardos and have yet to lose to one...and i told my buddy about it and he seems to think that my car cannot beat an SE Gallardo.
How about Murcielagos?? Anyone race one yet?? How close of a race is it?

Tell him that you let some hookers drive your car while you were getting drunk and that you just drove it when picking up the coke.

I'd go to court and fight it!! First off the cop could not even identify a VIPER vs an eclipse?! Second they asked WHO was driving, hence they did not id the driver either!! It wasn't you!! yeah, you own it but your a nice guy and let somebody take it for a spin, they were taking it for a test drive to see if they would like to buy one. Also BOTH cops would have to appear in court, the one that supposedly witnessed it and the officer that came to the house and gave you the ticket. I'd fight it to the end!!

you get coke at the gas station?...in our neighborhood it's the ice cream man that sells that shit.

Did you admit to the responding officer that you were, in fact, driving? If so, that is an admissible admission on your part.

I don't know what the "aggressive driving" penalty is in your state with regard to points/insurance rates, but we have a Careless Operation statute here which carries no points and no increase on insurance premiums for a first offense. It is typically a revenue generator for the locals.

Depending on the severity of the "aggressive driving" penalty, it may be in your best interest to hire an attorney. You go in there to fight it on your own and you will lose.

One other option is that if you have a clean driving record and didn't give the cops a hard time, go pull your record and bring it with you to court. Get there early, find the cop and show him your record and see if he will cut a deal. If not, request a continuance to obtain counsel. Most judges will allow that. If not, request a jury trial (if applicable in your state) and then go get a lawyer.
