It's true that we know roughly what's coming, but the final hp rating and appearance of the new nose remain unknowns.

There is nothing known, only rumors.

I think everyone is going to be very dissapointed. I hope I'm wrong, but all the actions from DC would lead you to the conclusion that they have nothing up their sleeve.

Perhaps we'll get to see the new Off White Mamba.

Yep. And it's been backed up several times since by other sources with good track records.
