You want to cling to the hope that they are going to introduce a new 2008 Viper. You are in denial because you can't admit that there is nothing on the drawing board.
Face it, if there was something coming for 2008, it would have been known by now. you can't keep all the EPA testing and stuff a secret and to introduce something radically different it would need to be in testing now.
Look at all the details about the 'rumored' Z07. Heck, they have artist renderings in the rags. All they have from DC is a bunch of yahoos on the message board saying that "a friend, who knows a guy, that is related to the wife of a big shot at DC says the new 2008 will.... blah blah blah."

The Z07 is not rumored, its been confirmed. Thats why there are more details about that car. The only real suprise here with the 08 Viper is what level HP they are stepping up to and what price for this new level of HP. There are not going to be any radical design changes between what you see now and whats released, a new front fascia, new hood to accomadate the new engine and new wheels. I think alot of people are going to be disappointed when it gets released finally, however the smart ones will buy a 06 at a huge discount, strap on a paxton/small TT setup and call it a day and beat anything out there.
