I made it from Michigan to about an hour past St. Loius, MO when some BIG thing in the middle of the rd. Smacked the SS at 80mph. I'm a bit pissed right now. Those expecting to see a nice car in Vegas may have to overlook a smashed front.
Two days of travel left. I hope that's the last of the damage.

No. From the looks of the markings it must have been a re-tread. The whole front end actually held together quite well as it only has a small section of cracked fiberglass. When it hit, it sounded like the whole front end was ripped off.
Sorry to hear about your bad luck Jeff. I go on the Hot Rod Power Tour and every year someone has an accident or a breakdown. Shit happens when you drive the car but it sure beats playing trailer queen. Good Luck and hopefully now you have all your accidents out of the way and you can enjoy the next 50,000 troublefree miles.
Well, I'm here in Vegas but not without more to tell. After 15 hrs of driving well pulled off to stay in a hotel in Arizona. The next morning we I was about to load up only to find that some scum of the earth tried to break into the trunk with some sort of hammer. Beat the liv'in shite out of it.

My nerves are shot. All of the late light last minute work for not. Tomorrow I will be displaying a very imperfect car to say "How would you like your Viper to look like this?".
I think I going to just forget about all of it any try to enjoy Vegas.

Pulling up in a wrecked viper to show what parts you are selling...sounds like a bad scene out of cannonball run.
Another reason custom parts suck....with all this damage its not like you just buy a new part....all of this will have to be re-fabricated and re painted to match....which costs a ton of money if done right. You aren't counting the $ because its your own time...but someone who did this 2nd hand would have to.
How much are you in the hole now? $30K for just cosmetics...that need to be fixed....seems an inefficient way to spend loot on the viper
