Changing Supercharger Pulley

If right now I am making 770rwhp with the standard pully at 8psi and 91 octane, would could I reasonably expect to gain by going to say a 10,12,14 pound pulley and 100 octane gas?

How much can be gained from just retuning for 100 octane gas with my current 8lb setup?

I think "Rick-SRT10" has a 12 pound pulley and is putting down about 900RWHP. Not sure on any other specs of the car though.

the pulley poundage is a guestimate based on your crank and blower pulley sizes. if you want max boost, go to a 3" (or if you are brave, a 2.75") blower pulley. 3" you won't eat belts. 2.75" you'll eat them a bit. if you need more boost after that, get a bigger crank pulley (and move the water-pump snout by chopping it off and re-welding it) in order to get an 8"-8.5" on there.

max boost you'll ever see w/ the paxton is 15-16psi though... it can't flow much more air than that.

good luck!

JD

I am running 15 lb boost and using a 10 rib belt with no problems. I had a 12 lb pulley and 850 rwhp. When I changed the pulley and dynoed the car it added 50 rwhp but this was all done on 93 octane.
