Finally got my new coupe... w/pics
Well, it took a bit to get from South Florida to Ringgold, but we eventually made it to the dealership Saturday morning. We were all ready to take delivery of a beautiful Blu/Sil that was waiting for us all polished up. The paperwork began and then it happened! I walked past a garage bay where a Blk/Sil was being cleaned and prepped.
So, I got to thinking (I hate when that happens) "do I really want the blue, or would I rather have the black???" I had them put the two cars together and I walked around, jumped inside, and pondered over the color decision for 90 minutes (they also had a copperhead/blk and bumblebee there too).
The blue is absolutely beautiful, but to my eye, I think the color worked better on the original GTS and Gen III vert than it does on the Gen III coupe. The aggressive lines of the coupe just scream for a very aggressive color (red, black, yellow).
Anticipating that it will be lowered, tinted and get some rims in the future, I decided to go for the ultimate aggression color and decided on the black.
If anyone has any pics of a black Gen III coupe lowered, tinted, with rims, etc (or any combination), please post.
