1 7/8 T321 stainless headers flowing into twin 76 mm turbos. Motor in vehicle is currently stock and will be replaced by 577 CID stroker motor.

3.5 in. side exhaust. Outside of the big bore motor, none of this stuff is new to the Viper go fast world.....

577cid....Twin Turbo....think you can get 1,700rwhp? You could call it the Venom 2000. Kinda has a nice ring to it.
Honestly, what do you think it could do on pump gas.
I'd hate to ask what it would cost.......

The new twist is that it will be powering a 3,000 lb. Competition Coupe. Which is probably a good thing to be so light as we are only planning to push 1300 rw hp most of the time.

We will be happy with 1300 rw hp that can be run wide open for a few minutes at a time reliably.

Will such a long stroke limit the revs of the motor and thus the effectiveness of the turbos as opposed to a shorter stroke version?

1300 RWHP in a CC must be hell on wheels.

So that clearly makes me the underdog. I love a challenge.

The stroke is only increased by 0.100 in. and we have done a lot of motors with this stroke and its never been a problem.

Somehow I figure you will do just fine. We could always borrow some of SVS's lead weights to even the scales if we had to.
Thanks for the props guys, Gary J.
Gary, looking forward to your event in Dec. - it looks first class like all things you do.

Looking good! Pistons included ;-)
1300rwhp reliable for extended WOT should be a piece of piss - it's all in the engine build, plumbing and oiling. You will want a dry sump in that if you are serious about reliability at WOT. Mike LeFever has one about ready now for the SRT10.

Nice build. Can an engine this size spool twin 101's like a 544 would do twin T88's?

In case I missed it, are you going to try and make it street legal or register as kit car?
