IForged Wheels on Slate Coupe

My new wheels arrived and I'm not sure whether I like them yet.

Aside from the fact that the car needs to be lowered (suspension on order), let's hear some honest opinions.

I love the color of your car !!

yes the car needs to be lowered , but thats a given.

As far as the wheels go - I like the design / size / lip ... but I think they would look better chromed all the way , or maybe the centers painted body color and leave the lips polished ... JMO

I feel like it looks good but there is something missing I can not put my finger on.....

I think that is about how you are feeling as well. All chrome may have been better, however lowering the car may take care of everything.

Lowering and a race spec aligment like Gary's will fix everything.

AMong: Thanks man.I went back and forth with the whole chrome idea, but thought this might present a more classy look.

DocAdam: Thanks Doc, I'm with you. I'll lower the car and see what happens.

Austin: Thanks. Lowering is an absolute must, no doubt.

Sween: Thanks and enjoy the background. I'm still an extremely amateur photographer.

Eric: I know man, but you already beat me to the chrome! Ok, so I had these wheels on order for 8 weeks. Thanks for the compliment.

Paul: Good call on the alignment. I agree that possibly -1 degree of camber adjustment will help the overall appearance.

ronnie5: I was trying to go for a contrasted look, but the only alternative I was willing to try was full chrome.

zengarage: Hang in there you never know with my indecisive mental state.

Vince: I call BIASED! Great job on the wheels, they are definitely beautiful.

Have you been to Delaware lately? Flooding has become an issue, so I thought this might be a cure to my driving blues.

Thanks for great price and customer service on these wheels.

Sal,
Are you running PS2s? I cant get over how beautiful that car is. I hope I can beat you to lowering it too, but you move pretty damn fast.

Much much better. A flat black with chrome lips would set that color off nicely. Slate is a good color, but hard to decide what wheels work with the color is a little tricky. The spokes on that wheel are a little chunky too, which the black would help slim down some. Lowering alone would do wonders.

The more I look at the car as it is the more I love it. I say just lower it and Heffner-ize it. Done.

Sounds like someone will be selling their B/W and getting Slate.

Here it is lowered with no wheel treatment. Personally; not that my opinion matters, but the black centers look much better.
