i have done the tint spray in the past on my z06 and camaro's and trans-ams, but the sray on stuff dosent give you that shiny look that smoked lexan gives.
so far all i'm finding out there is this vinyl stuff that looks like window tint, but i'm not to sure how well it will hold up to the heat thrown off of the headlights. i'm thinking it will end up becoming like shrinky-dinks in the oven from the headlamp heat.
the lights are scuffed, painted, clear coated and baked in a booth. exact same process as painting a car. The finish is perfect, just like a body panel. I would not recommend the 3m type of everlays, especially o headlights.

man you sure did a great job with paint, but unfortunately me and paint dont mix well.
although i do have an old can of black krylon sitting on the shelf:bigsmile:
